My life, My Choice

Pick and mix, “walk alongside” various people, to get their perspective, and choose what in their worldview can one apply to one’s life. No solid ideologies and putting oneself into boxes.

As a naive teenager I wished for some “stronger stuff” and ended up with Orthodox Christianity, my only experience when it was very difficult to quit an ideology, despite suffocating within it. New Atheism, Greens, New Age, Mysticism, Objectivism and Rational Optimism all proved useful, at least sometime just in pointing the direction I should not travel to.

Getting suddenly into the wider and more “civilized” world today, and obsering how it is still smaller, stupider, colder, more suffocating and scarier than it ever was in my memory, I can say that now I am just for Freedom, independence, right to choose one’s life, where to walk, what to wear, what to say, who to visit, who to hug. Nothing else truly matters any more.
